Soy wax is a plant-based wax made from soybeans.

At Bare Minimum, we use soy wax because it fits the way we want our candles to feel.
Quiet. Minimal. Easy to live with.
Soy wax works well for small-batch candles because it burns evenly when cared for properly and gives the candle a soft, natural finish.
how soy wax burns
Soy wax can sometimes look a little different from candle to candle.
You may notice small surface changes, slight texture, or frosting over time. That is normal for soy wax and does not mean the candle is broken.
It is just soy wax being soy wax.
Still useful. Still doing its job.

Trim the wick, let the wax melt evenly, and avoid burning it all day.
